2002-09-16 - 5:38 p.m. I have a couple of pieces of good news, both of which were a surprise even to me. First of all, Paragon and Vancouver: 2020 have a new mirror. Check out Platinum Heroes. Second, Ian Jukes, who runs the site, has done us all a massive favor by recompiling the .pdf versions of both Paragon 2.0 and Vancouver: 2020 1.0 (I used Ghost Writer, but he used Acrobat, which turned out to be a lot more efficient). The result is that the file sizes are substantially smaller, and Vancouver: 2020 looks just a little cleaner (better fonts, more colorful cover). Thanks, Ian! 2002-09-16 - 2:22 p.m. ![]() Well, here we are at last: Paragon 2.0 Final and Vancouver: 2020 1.0 Final are both finished and have been uploaded to RPG Hoard! I put the finishing touches on Paragon last night (including the addition of seven new prestige classes -- check out Appendix B), but I decided to stick to my game plan and wait until now to release both books, since that gave me a chance to look things over one more time and get in a fresh start today. I'm glad I did, too, because Jaime finished his enhanced character sheet, and it was zipped into the Paragon .pdf package at the last moment. I'd like to say that it's time for a break, now, but I still have a lot of announcements to make about the release and so forth, so I'm back to the old grind. Some time during the next couple of days, when I have time to sit back and catch my breath, I'll post a few more thoughts on the project and where things will be going from here. 'Til then... ![]() P.S. If you are diving into this in the middle and feeling puzzled, make sure that you click on the Older button to check out the very first introductory post. The Paragon rules and Vancouver: 2020 sourcebook can be found at RPG Hoard. If you want to comment on this page, just click here, or press the Contact Cwylric button, to the left, to send me an email. Remember that the kermode.net address listed in older versions of Paragon and Vancouver: 2020 is no longer active, so please use one of these two methods to get in touch with me, instead.
