They must obey their superiors, in Project Prometheus, and are expected to deal with dangerous situations on a regular basis, following DPI protocols. This is not a job that one can lightly quit: rumor has it that those mutants who tried to do so simply vanished (although Vector claims that they have simply been relocated and given cover identities). This also includes aspects of the Dark Secret Weakness, since members of Vigil cannot reveal their identities to the public and must try to ensure that normal people never even become aware that they have strange powers. Obviously, this sort of secrecy can make completing some missions problematic. If you would like to see the actual character sheet for each member of Vigil, written up in Vancouver: 2020 format (either to use in your own version of Dark Ascension or to adapt over to some other Paragon campaign), just contact me. Full character sheets are just too large and their formating is too complex to post them here. P.S. If you are diving into this in the middle and feeling puzzled, make sure that you click on the Older button to check out the very first introductory post. The Paragon rules and Vancouver: 2020 primer can be found at RPG Hoard. If you want to comment on this page, just click here, or press the Contact Cwylric button, to the left, to send me an email. Remember that the kermode.net address listed in older versions of Paragon and Vancouver: 2020 is no longer active, so please use one of these two methods to get in touch with me, instead.
